SBMT has announced its season for 2014-2015: HAIRSPRAY(fall) produced by Jay Steele. CURTAINS(winter) produced by Dan Singletary, and KISS ME KATE(spring) produced by Walter M. Mayes. If you are interested in a staff position, please contact the producers.

Partial cast for Sunnyvale's LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS: Rachelle Abbey(Audrey), Sam Sanders(Seymour) and Matt Tipton(Mushnik).

Lucy Haab, James Creer, and C. Michael Traw have been elected to the SBMT Board of Directors. Alternates include Barbara Heninger, Pat Day, and David Murphy.

SBMT Award Winners announced at the General Meeting were Kevin Cornelius(Carol Srigley Award),Braden Taylor(Fred Hassett Award) and John Diloreto, Katie Hassett, and James Creer were initiated into the silver jacket club. Congrats to all. There was great entertainment with previews of the two upcoming shows: GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES and DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS and a medley from the 2014-15 season with a special opening number by David Mister, Braden Taylor and Shawn Miller. Thanks to Walter Mayes for arranging it.

Haley Henson and Sarah Hammer will appear in Sunnyvale's LITTLE PRINCESS.

Hugh Jackman has dropped out of the Houdini Musical which was to open later this year on Broadway.

Golden Globes on Televison tonight. Always fun to see them.

Michael Rhone and Scott Stanley are in the COMPANY cast soon to open at Los Altos Stage Company. Ali Malone will play the title role in Broadway By The Bay's EVITA. Alex Hsu is the choreographer. Jerry Lloyd will appear in Hillbarn's OF MICE AND MEN.

The all female cast of 1776 will open later this month at Tabard. An interesting slant on this generally male actor show. Also THE HERIESS for the Palo Alto Players opens soon and there is ARSENIC AND OLD LACE by the Santa Clara Players. Lots of theater this month.
