During this Thanksgiving week, all of us at South Bay Musical Theatre want to take this opportunity to convey our deep gratitude to you. Whether you are a regular patron coming to enjoy our productions, a donor who generously supports our organization, a volunteer helping us behind the scenes, a performer gracing our stage, or another member of our community, we are grateful for you! Your contributions help our theatre company thrive. SBMT is the wonderful treasure that it is thanks to you.
From the joy of Broadway By The Decade, to the sweeping drama of Titanic, from the magic of Brigadoon, to our virtually sold-out fall production of The Sound of Music, SBMT has enjoyed a remarkable run of successful, critically praised shows over the past year. These productions have only been possible thanks to you, our community of generous donors and tireless volunteers who believe in the power of live theatre.
To each of our donors, thank you! Your gifts – large and small – all provide the financial foundation that allows us to dream big. Your support keeps the lights on, the doors open, and the creativity flowing.
To our phenomenal volunteers, thank you for everything you bring to SBMT. Whether you’re welcoming patrons as ushers, selling concessions, operating spotlights, running props backstage, assisting with social media, painting sets, maintaining costumes, proofreading programs, helping with our fundraising efforts, keeping the sound crisp and clear, playing music in the pit orchestra, or performing on our stage, your extraordinary talents and efforts are crucial to our ongoing success.
As we look ahead to our heartwarming holiday concert Let It Show in December, followed by Little Women, On The 20th Century, and In The Heights in the new year, we’re energized by the momentum you’ve helped create. We are also planning an incredibly exciting 2026-27 season, including the recently-announced production of Come From Away.
This Giving Tuesday, please keep South Bay Musical Theatre in mind. Your tax-deductible donations are invested right here in our community to continue producing live, high-quality performing arts. Your donations help cover the gap between ticket revenue and the costs of producing our shows and ensure that the magic continues.
Thank you for helping us keep musical theatre alive and well in the South Bay. We truly could not do this without you and we are grateful beyond measure.
