If you’ve been waiting for the “perfect time” to see our production of Little Women at the Saratoga Civic Theater, this is it. We are entering our final weekend, and the response from our community has been nothing short of—to quote from the show’s most well-known song—“Astonishing.”

Bay Area Theatre Critic Eddie Reynolds called this production “magnificently sung and staged,” noting that it “soars in every respect—musically, staging, directing, and acting”. Our audiences are feeling it, too; we’ve heard from a patron who found the show “touching, humorous, and faithful,” while another described it as a “marvelous, heartwarming experience” that brought her to tears.

With the curtain set to fall for the last time on Saturday on a beautiful show that is rarely mounted, we don’t want you to be the one hearing about it afterward and feeling that inevitable FOMO.

Little Women closing week pushYour final opportunities to join the family

We have only three performances remaining. Our closing Saturday matinee is already 80% sold out, but we still have some great seats available for our evening shows:

  • Thursday, Feb. 12 at 8:00 p.m. – Our “Thrifty Thursday” performance! This is our most budget-friendly option, with tickets costing $10 less than our full-priced matinees.
  • Friday, Feb. 13 at 8:00 p.m. – A perfect start to your Valentine’s weekend.
  • Saturday, Feb. 14 at 2:30 p.m. – Our final matinee (Limited availability!).

A sweet Valentine’s incentive

To help us reach a complete sell-out for our Valentine’s Day performance, we have a special treat for you. If you use the code “LOUISA” when placing your order, you will receive:

  1. $5 off any of those few remaining seats for the Saturday, Feb. 14 performance.
  2. A voucher for a sweet treat from our concessions table to enjoy during intermission.
  3. To claim this offer: Call our box office at 408-266-4734 to place your order and arrange to pick up your tickets and voucher at will call.

Join us for this “revisit to an American classic tale that should not be missed.” Whether you relate to Jo’s fierce desire for recognition, Beth’s quiet strength, Meg’s conflicted loyalties, or Amy’s aspirations for a better life, there is something in this story for everyone. I’ll be there with my granddaughter on Saturday. She saw it with her Girl Scout Troop on opening weekend and loved it so much that she’s coming back a second time with some theatre friends on her 10th birthday!
