Season Pricing

Diane H, Doug H, Sara, Jordan, Steve S. met to discuss season ticket pricing.

  • Everything but Thursday is $39, Thursday is $30
  • Subscriptions for Friday & Saturday are $87
  • Sub for Matinees $93
  • Thursday is $78
  • Increases of $3 to $6 per ticket
  • Maintain $2 discount for seniors, and $20 discount for students with ID, and 12 and under
  • Concerts $40 for ticket, subscribers get it for $35
  • West Valley, as comparison, is $95 for adults and $85 for seniors, so on average we are lower (they have fees, we don’t)
  • Committee propose above and Board accepted

Harassment Incident

  • Need a harassment committee
  • Need to create a procedure – Steve A, Jay, and Barbara will be on the committee to develop it
  • Need to make sure that front of house, backstage, and orchestra have the harassment policy when they are hired, taken on
  • Will review the written policy with the Board

CFO Position

  • Jennifer Seguin can’t do it now; Dan Dominguez can’t do it
  • Jordan volunteered to do it if we can’t find anyone else – Jordan will participate in the meeting with Braden and Jennifer to create the budget
  • Possibly separate the task of revenue recognition, and the other part is balance sheet & income statement
  • (We currently have a bookkeeper who does all of the tax accounting)

Silver Jackets

  • Silver jackets are associated with the Lucy and C. Michael era, and that it was considered exclusive
  • People get jealous about it, it seems arbitrary, can’t tell why people get it (someone really ‘new’ might get one when someone else who has been active for a long time hasn’t got one)
  • Consider retiring it, and creating something in its place for seniority, or better clarify why people should get it and who qualifies, and making that clear
  • Committee to discuss the membership meeting to include discussing silver jacket award and its potential replacement

Meeting adjourned at 9pm.
